Tenor Ryan Morgan accompanied by pianist Bebhinn Ni Mheara will perform “Songs of the Sea” in the delightful Port of Cork Boardroom. Ryan Morgan is a trained classical singer originally from Wales, but now based in Ireland. With a repertoire that encompasses the classical tenor range as well as swing and contemporary music, Ryan’s soaring voice never fails to thrill audiences. Booking is essential. Hiphop beats from Cork rap sensations GMC and Bubba Shakespeare, who will be doing tracks ‘as gaeilge’ from their Electric Picnic set. They will be joined by fellow hip-hop artists Bony and Anto Yao (sets at 6 pm & 7pm). Theatrical interludes by the Theatre Makers will take place at 8pm & 9pm.

Local electronic music producer Toby Kaar will be performing live instore. Toby curates his own regular event – ctrl-alt-delete – in which he showcases Cork’s electronic music producers and DJs. From dance floor to more experimental material, his sets have been highlights in Cork’s nightlife over the past few years.

Patrick St. Gallery will feature an evening of performance, installation and an afternoon Jazz session with the Akosua Trio. Listen to an endurance performance by DEFAULT productions titled Fair Use, where over eight hours two performers attempt to describe themselves by using the products of other people’s imaginations. Come to the official opening of the video installation Circadian Rhythm by artist Edel O'Reilly, the third show in a series of linked exhibitions by the artist between Portlaoise, Dublin and Cork.
