Culture Night Choral Trail

Choral Trail 
Cork Sings through on Culture Night, in partnership with the Cork International Choral Festival. Join us on a choral trail with some of Cork’s best choirs in designated churches throughout the city – catch them all, or just drop in. Choral performances will run for 30 minutes approximately.

  • 5.30pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Little William St, off York St, off MacCurtain St - featuring the Trinity Presbyterian Singers.
  • 6.20 pm at St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Paul Street - featuring Acapellabella (Clonakilty & Ballydehob)
  • 7.10 pm at St. Augustine's Church, Washington Street - featuring Cantabile Vocal Ensemble and Cork Garda Male Voice Choir
  • 8.00pm at St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Bishop Street - featuring St Fin Barre’s Cathedral Choir

One of the jewels of Cork City, the English Market and many of its resident stall holders will open late on Culture night. Come and enjoy the Market by night, sampling many Cork culinary specialities in the magical setting with music by night.

The Store Front Project

 Store Front Project
Presented by Cork Contemporary Projects, follow this City Centre trail where artists occupy disused shop fronts working in range of mediums over ten days along a prescribed city centre route. The project will also include other off-site events which question the social perceptions between fine art, street art, culture, commerce, music and performance. Come along to the boardwalk on the corner of Grand Parade & South Mall at 7.30 pm to hear music on the River Lee. Guest Musicians on board the Fionnbarra – Meitheal Mara’s longboat – will be performing, under Musical Director Evelyn Grant. Weather Permitting.
