Culture Night sees the launch of our latest exhibition 'NightShades', exploring the boundaries between our conscious & subconscious. Featuring work by artists including Amelie Gagne, Jack Hickey, James Horan, Ludmila Korol & Kevin McSherry. Join us for an evening of art & music.

Backwater Artists Group will host guided tours of the studios (every half hour). Exhibitions of artists' work in the studio complex will include ‘Lost and Found’ an exhibition of work by Artist Aoife Barrett. Light refreshments will also be available.

MEMENTO: This exhibition is a result of an international Erasmus project, exploring the notion of memory and recollection. This work emerged from intensive workshops delivered across various institutions in Europe.

Set in the grounds of St Fin Barre’s Cathedral Cork Artists Collective (formed in 1985), invites the public to visit the studios and meet with artists based there. Works include painting, sound art, video art, photography and mixed media. Light refreshments will be served.
