Doctoral Degree for Cork City Council Officer John Mullins

Dr John Mullins, Executive Librarian, Cork City Library, was guest of honour of Lord Mayor, Cllr Seán Martin, after Dr Mullins was the first person to be awarded a PhD degree from the Council’s scheme of assistance for staff pursuing approved courses of study. The doctoral degree was awarded at the autumn conferring's at University College Cork, for pioneering research on public library leaders in Ireland, Britain, and America.
