North Docklands Local Area Plan

Cork City Council, intends to prepare a Local Area Plan, under Section 18 of the Planning & Development Act 2000, for the North Docklands area in accordance with the objectives of the City Development Plan 2004 and the Docklands Development Strategy. The plan area extends from Ship Street in the west to Water Street/Castleview Terrace in the east. It includes the railway station and surrounding lands adjacent to Horgans Quay, as well as residential/commercial areas along the Lower Glanmire Road.

The Council invites suggestions or submissions from interested parties on issues to be considered in the Local Area Plan.
