Christmas Message from the City Manager to Staff of Cork City Council

City Manager -As we approach Christmas I would like to wish all of you a very happy Christmas. We had a busy year and can be pleased that in all departments we have served our community well. I would like to thank all of you for your work during the past year.

The city is going through a period of great renewal and the contribution which the staff of Cork City Council make is of critical importance to the upkeep and wellbeing of our city. We look forward to an exciting year next year when we celebrate our designation as European Capital of Culture 2005. 

I would like to extend also my best wishes to all our retired staff and their families.
