The Official Opening of Shandon Bridge

The Lord Mayor, Cllr. Seán Martin, officially opening Shandon Bridge on
Thursday 9th December.

 Mary Hartnett and Winnie Lyons photographed with Joe Gavin, City Manager. Returning from a shopping trip to town, they were the first two people to cross over the Shandon Bridge after the official opening by the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Seán Martin on 9th December 2004.
