Mary Hartnett and Winnie Lyons photographed with Joe Gavin, City Manager. Returning from a shopping trip to town, they were the first two people to cross over the Shandon Bridge after the official opening by the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Seán Martin on 9th December 2004.
