Cork City Council is delighted to announce that Oliver Plunkett Street, Maylor Street and adjacent streets will be pedestrianised from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from Monday, 21st November 2005. During such hours no parking or deliveries will be allowed in the restricted areas. Shoppers will not have to contend with cars and other vehicles in these newly refurbished areas making it a much more pleasant shopping environment in the run up to Christmas. Traders are reminded that deliveries should be made before 11.00 a.m. or after 5.00 p.m. During the hours of pedestrianisation, deliveries to the pedestrianised areas can be made via loading bays at Grand Parade, South Mall, Parnell Place, and Saint. Patrick’s Street. Any queries this matter please contact Cork City Council Traffic Division at 4924452.
