Retirement of Kathleen Lynch, Rate Collector, Cork City Council.

Kathleen Lynch (a proud West Cork woman from Aghabullogue) retires from Cork City Council in the first week of August 2005. kathleen has been with Cork City Council for 45 years and as rate collector for the past 30 years receiving the warrant each year since 1975 as collector of the municipal rate from 6 different city managers, many of the staff who worked for Kathleen during her career have gone on to many high positions in the local govt. service.
