Lifetime Lab Water Open Day on Saturday 30th August

Lifetime Lab on Lee Road in Cork City will mark the end of the summer holidays with a Water Open Day on Saturday 30^th August from 11am to 4pm. Admission will be free and children and adults alike can come and enjoy a series of stands and activities which will help them find out more about water.

Activities will include launching of water rockets from the Lifetime Lab garden, getting up close and personal with minibeasts that live in water, learning how to be a water detective, blow giant bubbles and lots more.

The day is part of Heritage Week which runs from the 24^th to 31^st August and sees a whole range of events throughout the country celebrating our Heritage (see www.heritageweek.ie).

Lifetime Lab is located at the old Cork Waterworks on the is fully wheelchair accessible, and also has a coffee dock, picnic area and children’s playground.
