Cork City Council has developed a joint housing strategy in conjunction with Cork County Council and the county’s nine Urban District Councils. The executive summary of the strategy and both volumes of the full strategy report may be downloaded from this page in pdf format.
These pages summarise the Joint Housing Strategy for Cork which was prepared under the Planning and Development Act 2000 and submitted for formal adoption by the eleven planning authorities in Cork as part of their respective development plans. They contain some background information on the strategy, a brief summary of the analysis carried out and an outline of the policy responses recommended.
