Kinsale Road Civic Amenity/Recycling Centre

NSAI ISO 14001 EnvironmentMembers of the public may dispose of the following recyclable materials for a fee of €2.00. All other waste will be charged at the appropriate rate.

  • Aluminium Drink Cans *
  • Glass Bottles *
  • Clean Plastic Bottles (e.g. PET (plastic mineral bottles) *
  • HDPE (shampoo bottles) *
  • Milk bottles (plastic only) *
  • Tetrapaks *
  • Cardboard (Boxes should be flattened)
  • Newspapers and Magazines
  • Batteries
  • Scrap Metal
  • Waste Engine Oil
  • Food Cans *

* These materials should be rinsed to help deter odour and flies.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) will continue to be accepted free of charge

Please note that charges apply for the following:

Timber (Boxes, Pallets etc. - all bolts, hinges and glass should be removed.)

Green Waste (Grass, Leaves, Trees Topsoil, Builders Rubble etc.)

The Civic Amenity Site is for Domestic Use Only.

Only cars and 'small low sided' single axle car trailers without extensions will be allowed access to the Civic Amenity Site. No vans, jeeps or large wide sided trailers will be allowed access to the Civic Amenity Site.
