“Rediscover Public Transport!” Competition

The “Rediscover Public Transport!” campaign is proposed as part of European Mobility Week (16th to 22nd September), which aims to promote sustainable modes of transport.

Users of trains and buses as well as new customers of GoCar are invited to take part in one of the four raffles organised by Cork City Council, Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann and GoCar cambio Ireland.

Entrants will have the opportunity to win the following prizes:-

·         Luxury weekend break for 2 people

·         Free commuter tickets (Bus Eireann, Iarnrod Eireann)

·         Voucher for use of GoCar

·         Vouchers for use of Park and Ride

To be included in the draw, each participant must;

a)      complete an entry form (available on-line and at partners’ venues)

b)      attach a valid transport ticket punched during European Mobility Week (16^th to 22^nd September) or

c)      attach a photocopy of Weekly/Monthly transport ticket, valid and used during European Mobility Week

d)      attach a copy of GoCar membership (for new customers signing up during European Mobility Week)

Entries should be posted to:

Cork City Council

Traffic Division

City Hall, Anglesea Street

Cork. 

Or placed in special collection boxes located in:

-          City Hall – reception

-          Bus Station – main desk

-          Train Station – main desk

The winners will be drawn from all postal entries received by Monday 29^th September 12am (closing date). Winners will be notified by telephone.
