Noise Action Plan

Public Notice – Noise Action Plan

Cork City Council has made a Noise Action Plan under Article 11 of the Environmental Noise Regulations 2006, S.I. number 140 of 2006. The Noise Action Plan has been made for places near major roads in the City Council’s administrative area, which have more than 6 million vehicle passages per year.

The Noise Action Plan may be inspected at the offices of Cork City Council, City Hall, Cork, during normal opening hours i.e. 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). The Noise Action Plan is available for inspection on the web site www.corkcity.ie .

Any submissions or observations in relation to the Noise Action Plan may be made in writing to Cork City Council, or may be made by email to traffic@corkcity.ie within the period from 22nd August 2008 to 19th September 2008.
