Park By Phone

How to register:

Park by Phone is a new alternative parking payment system which has been launched by Cork City Council. This new system allows motorists to pay for their on street parking using their mobile phone. This system will not replace Parking discs which can still be used to pay for on-street parking as in the past.

Before you can use the new “Park by Phone” System you must first register as a user on the system. To do this you contact park by Phone (Details Below) who will sent you a registration pack. Complete the form in the registration pack and attach the sticker provided to the windscreen of your vehicle.

On arrival in the parking bay dial the Park by Phone telephone number (0818-220101) and register your parking period by following the instructions provided.

Each parking period costs €1.50 plus the cost of the phone call and is valid for a period of 1 or 2 hours depending on the street on which you park (see on-street time plates for details of permitted parking duration).

Before the expiry of the parking period, the motorist can extend their parking period by a predefined period (1 hour in both 2 and 1 hour parking areas) at a cost of €1.50.
