Project Scheme Award 2012
The Project Scheme provides direct funding for professional arts projects across all disciplines. The projects must not already be in receipt of funding from any other scheme administered by the Arts Office.
Research and development, as well as production funding, may form part or all of the application. We aim to provide support to productions, exhibitions, commissions, publications, etc, through this scheme. Applications should not relate to the ongoing employment or overhead costs. The scheme is only open to the professional sector. Maximum value of grant available is €10,000.
Arts in Context Award 2012
The Arts in Context Award aims to provide opportunities for artist and community groups to work together to realise arts projects. This grant provides for either research/development support for a project max €1,000, project realisation max €6,000 or project completion max €1,000. This award supports projects that take place in community contexts; schools, hospitals, community care settings, youth clubs, prisons, community centres, clubs etc. Artists and the group must plan the project together before summiting an application.
Individual Artist Bursary awards 2012
Applications are invited by the Arts Office for the Individual Artist Bursary awards 2012. This fund supports individual artists. Applications must be in respect of the professional development of individual practicing artists, arts administrators, and/ or arts and cultural theorists.
Examples of professional development include:
Further educational or training opportunities.
Development opportunities in other countries.
Opportunities to be professionally mentored.
Opportunities to facilitate a significant shift in direction of work.
Maximum value of Grant available €5,000
Voyage Awards 2012
This fund provides funding to support the travel of professional artists, coordinators, curators, administrators, to and from Cork.
This award scheme supports the development of international opportunities for arts and cultural practitioners in the city.
