International Partner City

The City of Cork is proud of its links with other cities.  Cork City Council works to foster international alliances with the following:

• Cologne, Germany
• Coventry, England
• Rennes, France
• San Francisco, USA
• Swansea, Wales
• Shanghai, China *

*Cork is also exploring closer ties with Shanghai in China.

Grants are provided to encourage twinning activities and a series of visits or cultural exchanges are then arranged with the partner city.
